DTN COMMENTS: The country is quiet this morning with action
limited to the distribution of new showlists. Last week's
business started out somewhat lower than the previous week, but
quickly fell much lower as the week progressed, creating a huge
gap in price ranges. Northern dressed prices ranged from
186.00-198.00, most sales were in the 195.00-196.00 area (the
previous week's weighted average basis Nebraska was 205.25).
Southern live trade ranged from 118.00-123.00, mostly 122.00
(the prior week's weighted average was just over 131.00). This
week's trade will probably be postponed until Wednesday or
later. Beef cutouts are expected to be higher with generally
light box movement.

For the week ending June, 17, 2017, Imported Beef Passed for
Entry in the U.S. totaled 38,323, 101.46% of the previous week
and 107.69% of the prior 4-week average.

supplied by DTN subscribers in the interest of general cash
market awareness. All cattle feeding subscribers are encouraged
to report sales in a timely fashion in order to compensate for
the systematic delays of mandatory reporting. While all

sales. DTN believes this data to be accurate, but cannot
guarantee its specific reliability or whether it fairly
represents the larger cash market.

1-800-369-7675, 1-402-399-6402, or 1-402-462-8897. All sales
will be listed anonymously and organized by state. General
trends and summaries from this data will also be posted on the
