   Lackluster Tones Lead Livestock Complex to Mixed Close

   It was an uneventful Monday for the livestock complex as the cattle
contracts closed slightly higher while the hog contracts closed lower.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

   Monday was a lackluster day for the livestock complex as the cattle
contracts closed slightly higher but the lean hog contracts rounded out the day
lower as concerns about demand linger. Again, this week traders will be
carefully watching the market's fundamentals as they're going to need to see
stable support in order to maintain these price points. December corn is down 7
1/2 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $0.20. The Dow Jones
Industrial Average is up 201.36 points.
